Also known as trigger pointing, dry needling is a fantastic tool for reducing muscle pain.
When a needle is inserted into a muscle knot - a neural reaction known as the twitch response occurs. This twitch response encourages blood flow to the area, bringing oxygen to the site and removing waste products such as lactic acid, helping the muscle to relax and heal. For those knots that just won’t go away, dry needling could be the answer.

Meticulous and comprehensive, osteopathy incorporates a hands on approach to examine, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions. Osteopaths use a holistic approach. This means diagnosing the area of pain, whilst highlighting the other structures that are contributing towards it.
This formulates a management plan that targets more than just the injury, it provides a framework for preventative, long term results.
